Avocado Lime Sauce

Avocado Lime Sauce

Consider this simple sauce your go-to for a host of applications: tacos, crudité, toasted pita triangles, tortilla chips, and even as a sandwich spread. Avocados truly are nature's butter, so it's great when you can achieve a creamy texture without dairy or any processed ingredients for a change. Keep this one in your back pocket - it'll come in handy.

Ingredients

1 ripe Avocado
¼ cup coconut milk (I chose this because it’s my preference, but feel free to use regular cow’s milk or even almond milk)
¼ cup water
1 lime, juiced and zested
sea salt, to taste

Directions

  1. In a food processor or blender, puree all ingredients until completely smooth. Season with salt to taste. Transfer to a squeeze bottle for easy drizzling, if desired. Hold in the refrigerator until ready to use.
